Home Free Acres is a nonprofit, educational cooperative. Our purpose is to create a safe, supportive, outdoor based, classroom setting that focuses on homesteading skills, nature and entrepreneurship. We encourage children to explore, learn from their surroundings and from one another. Tending to chickens, having a year round garden, daily hikes and nature journaling are just a little of what you might see in our classroom. We want children to be able to be children- to get muddy, climb trees, collect leaves, chase chickens and learn through experience.
We are in need of donations to complete the exterior and weather proof our barn-made one room schoolhouse. Our classroom is set up in a barn just like a one room school house. Last year, we quickly installed heat, electricity and indoor plumbing to make our students more comfortable. Our barn door that we had installed leaks every rainfall. We need to get this door repaired, animal proof our foundation and add a stone path to prevent further erosion and create a place for muddy boots. These improvements would help to complete the exterior of our schoolhouse and preserve it for seasons to come.

We would love to be able to have a large barn door that no longer leaks into the classroom every time there is a rainfall.
Your donations would help make our classroom a more comfortable space for all. Thank you for your support!
Current Yearly Fundraising Goal: $5,000 For Repairs and Construction Items
